Changelog

New features, improvements, and fixes. Updated as we ship.

  1. Fix

Deploy and diff plans no longer show credentials (CLI 0.11.0)

yorker deploy and yorker diff mask credentials in the plan they print and in --json output. The JSON plan no longer includes full resource payloads.

  2. Improvement

The private agent start command no longer contains your runner key

The docker run command shown when you create a runner key now reads the key from your shell and names a fixed agent release.

  3. Feature

Private location agent: published image, versions, and update notices

The private location agent is now a published Docker image you update with docker compose pull. Yorker shows each agent's version, tells you when a newer release exists, and names any assigned monitors the agent cannot run.

  4. Fix

Screenshots from private locations now reach the filmstrip

Browser monitors on a private location now show their screenshots in Yorker with no storage to set up. Update the agent to 1.0.2 to get them.

  5. Improvement

API-key auth is no longer sent to another host on a redirect

HTTP monitors now drop the api-key auth header when a redirect leaves the original origin, the same as they already did for Authorization.

  6. Feature

yorker test now evaluates assertions (CLI 0.9.0)

yorker test runs each HTTP monitor's assertions locally with the same logic as hosted runs and exits non-zero on failure. This changes the command's exit code.

  7. Feature

yorker login: device-code flow for cross-browser auth

The CLI now uses a poll-based device-code flow modeled on Vercel and GitHub, so login works in every browser, including Safari.

  8. Feature

yorker login: browser auth for the CLI

The CLI now opens a browser to authenticate, so first-run no longer means copying an API key out of the dashboard.

  9. Feature

Deep analysis for alerts and monitors

On-demand root-cause investigation from the UI or CLI. Reads recent runs, logs, and correlation context before answering.

  10. Feature

Generate HTTP monitors from OpenAPI specs

Upload an OpenAPI spec and Yorker scaffolds an HTTP monitor per operation, with no hand-writing boilerplate.

  11. Improvement

    Location picker with health badges

The location picker now groups hosted and private locations and shows a live health badge for each one.

  12. Feature

Private locations CLI and Docker Compose reference

Manage private location agents from the terminal and spin them up with a reference Docker Compose config.

  13. Feature

Usage-based billing with Stripe invoice items

Hosted and private location runs are tracked independently and overages flow to Stripe as invoice items on the next bill.

  14. Feature

    Deterministic insight classifier

A rule-based classifier that tags alert insights instantly without waiting for a model generation round-trip.

  15. Feature

Feature detail pages and nav dropdown

Nine new feature pages covering browser monitoring, API monitoring, OTel, SLOs, SSL, alerting, and more.

  16. Feature

    Labels for monitors

Tag monitors with key/value labels, filter the dashboard by label, and emit labels as OTel resource attributes.

  17. Feature

    MCP server monitoring

Purpose-built monitoring for Model Context Protocol servers over Streamable HTTP.

  18. Feature

Automatic “why is this failing?” on every alert

The alert triage page now surfaces a short explanation of the likely cause, built from recent runs and correlation context.

  19. Improvement

Jump from SLO burn-rate to failing runs

The SLO dashboard now links directly to the check results that are eating your error budget.

  20. Feature

    ClickStack Cloud dashboard provisioning

Install pre-built HyperDX dashboard packs for your Yorker checks. Works with both self-hosted and ClickStack Cloud.

  21. Improvement

    Responsive screenshot grid

Browser check screenshots now render as a responsive grid instead of a horizontal scroll strip.

  22. Feature

    Team-level timezone support

Set an IANA timezone for your team and all timestamps in the UI render in your local zone.
